Add an item

Every new item starts as a draft. Drafts live in Inventory › Drafts until you approve them.

#Make one

1. Go to Inventory and press + Add item.
2. Add photos: the first one is the main photo. Drag to reorder.
3. Press Write with AI to have Claude fill in the title, description, condition, item specifics and price, or type them yourself.
4. Check the eBay category and the item specifics it asks for (required ones first).
5. Press Approve to move it into stock, or Approve & crosslist to list it straight away.

#What's on an item

• Title (up to 80 characters, for eBay) and description.
• Condition and condition notes for any flaws.
• Price, cost, quantity and SKU (Ripple numbers these for you; see Settings › SKUs).
• Parcel size and weight, used for postage on each marketplace.
• Barcode (EAN, UPC or ISBN): see Barcodes and ISBNs.
• Shop, if your charity has more than one.
• Per-marketplace choices, such as Depop's Occasion.

#Several the same

For items you have more than one of, set Quantity. When one sells, Ripple lowers the quantity everywhere instead of delisting. Use Sell similar on the item page to start a new item from this one.
