Ripple Team, roles and shops
Invite your team in Settings › Ripple online & team. Each person signs in with their own email and password.
Roles
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including settings, marketplace connections and the team. |
| Manager | Everything except managing the team. |
| Lister | Add and edit items, photos and Bulk generate; list. No costs, profit or settings. |
| Researcher | Research and drafts only. Their drafts go to their shop. No listing, money or settings. |
Listers and researchers see Home, Ask Ripple, Research and Drafts; their Settings is just their account and display.
Shops
If your charity has more than one shop, set them up in Settings › Listing defaults › Shops (name and code). Each person can be given a shop. Listers and researchers see only their own shop's items unless the owner ticks Can see all shops for them. Each shop's sales are in Inventory › Shop sales.
Two people on one item
If someone else has the same item open, Ripple shows "X is editing this item". Saves are merged field by field, so two people changing different fields never overwrite each other.
Passwords and leaving
The owner can send anyone a reset link, rename them, change their role or shop, or Remove them. Removed people can be restored later.
