Ripple Install the Chrome extension
The extension is what lets Ripple work on Vinted, Depop, Facebook Marketplace and Causee, which have no listing API. You need it on every computer that lists to those marketplaces or does jobs.
From the Chrome Web Store
- Open the install link your shop's owner sent you (Ripple is an unlisted extension, so it isn't in search).
- Press Add to Chrome, then Add extension.
- Click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome's toolbar and pin List With Ripple, so its icon is always there.
- Click the icon to open Ripple.
The store copy updates itself. This is the best choice for a computer that does jobs.
From a folder ("Load unpacked")
Use this only when your owner gives you a newer version before the store has approved it.
- Open
chrome://extensionsand turn on Developer mode (top right). - Press Load unpacked and choose the
ripple-extension-…folder.
Careful: Chrome treats each folder as a different extension. To update, copy the new files over the same folder and press ↻ on Ripple's card. Loading a new folder makes a new, signed-out copy.
Only keep one copy of Ripple switched on in each Chrome. Two copies would both try to do jobs.
